Martial tales...

Bank Holiday Sundays mean....

...quiet classes! And quiet classes mean that those that attend get to do some pretty cool stuff. I just happened to have a host of bokken in the boot of my car, so five eager young guns got to learn the sword form today. We can pack the detail in when they've got the order and that given them something else to work on away from the main syllabus. Laura Drayton and Alastair Banks took the opportunity to work on their grappling and striking skills and Jean Olden was glad of the opportunity to polish some senior forms. On another note, we got to give Sam Williams the bumps for his 10th birthday - can you believe that he'd never been given the bumps before?!

Tomorrow is Bank Holiday Monday - no classes. My day will be spent at home with family, enjoying a rare roast dinner. I'm sure there'll be the usual mayhem with plenty of laughter and dog fights...looking forward to it - enjoy your day!
